The loss of an old and faithful friend!

My brother posted the scripture below on his facebook today. I really hit close to home with me. I never realized that this weight loss struggle would be so emotional and tough. My friend Chandra, who has been through this, best described it " Leslie you are suffering a loss. a loss of your best friend food, food has always been there fr you through thick and thin. You are realizing you will never eat the way you always have and that is a loss, a death of your bat friend." This is so true, however I thought the emotional part would come after surgery...guess not. Now that the food is gone the mourning has begun. Its unbelievable how painful the loss is. i will hang in there. I will fight my evil demon who loves to use food as his tool to tempt me and make me feel inadequate and unworthy. he will not conquer me for I have God and family and friends holding me upright and ready to fight. i will succeed.RIP glutony and awaken will power to live a healthy life. bu pretty sure Im gonna need to invest in some tissues for all th sobbing. Loveand hugs...and sweetdreams? forget aboutit!

Romans 13:11-14

King James Version (KJV)
11And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.?search=Romans+13%3A11-14&version=KJV
